Cheap used P40 and V100 listings dry up
By October 19, the cheapest used Tesla V100 32GB and Tesla P40 listings on eBay US had gone, while typical prices held.
The lowest V100 ask rose from $650 on September 20 to $695, and the lowest P40 ask from $311 to $349.
The median asks barely moved, at $954 against $955 for the V100 and $385 against $387 for the P40.
Typical asks on October 19 ran from about $880 to $1,110 for a V100 32GB and $360 to $420 for a P40. Cheap cards still appear but do not last: a P40 listed at $270 on October 18 was gone the next day.
V100 listings fell from 14 to 12 over the month, which explains part of the rise. Its cheapest ask also went up in $10 to $20 steps, which looks more like one seller repricing than cards selling.
The P40 had 14 listings on both dates, so its rise did not come from fewer listings.
